You may not be aware of Fred's second place finish, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Fred Thompson is now one of only two candidates in the race to finish in the top three in two states (Iowa and Wyoming).

Fred now sets his sights on South Carolina, and he needs our help. A win for Fred in South Carolina will require the ability to make the media buys to get his consistent conservative message out to the voters.

To that end, Randall asked that we get out the following message:

Presidential hopeful Fred Thompson has soared to a nearly 2-to-1 lead over his closest Republican rival in the latest statewide poll.

In survey results announced Wednesday by Strategic Vision, the former U.S. senator from Tennessee led Rudy Giuliani, 39 percent to 20 percent.

Thompson added 4 percentage points to the advantage he enjoyed over the former New York mayor in a Strategic Vision poll taken last month.

All the other Republican candidates are in single digits.

A: Area Coordinators (AC's) are the FredHeads' "boots on the ground." AC's are responsible for connecting with the Fred supporters in their local communities and getting them tied into the FredHeads network.

AC's also serve as the interface between the national FredHeads network and their county GOP organizations and GOP affiliated clubs.

Finally, AC's serve as event coordinators and as the local distribution points for Fred information and memorabilia.

Q: As an Area Coordinator, how do I get in touch with other Republicans and Fred supporters?

A: Initially, it's a good idea to contact the leaders of the local party organizations. You should let the leaders of the local party and the local GOP affiliate clubs know that there's a FredHeads presence in their area and that you are a point person for the organization. Phone calls and emails work great. You should explain to them that FredHeads is an independent grassroots volunteer organization formed to support Fred.

Q: Will I get a list of people to contact or will you have people contact me?

A: Actually, we have a database of FredHeads in your area just waiting for a local coordinator to step up. Going forward, when we receive new inquiries from FredHeads in your area, we'll be forwarding their contact info to you.

Q: Do I need to attend all of the local political functions?

A: You certainly shouldn't feel obligated to attend every political function in your area, but it's good to attend local meetings of the GOP affiliate clubs when you can, and also to organize FredHeads meetups in your area.

Q: How do I get my hands on some bumper stickers, buttons and yard signs? Is there a source to get them for free?

A: At this point in time, we don't yet have a source for free materials. We do, however, have the ability to purchase materials directly, at a fraction of the prices being charged on the retail sites. It's not quite the same as free, but it's close.

It's positively amusing the energy being expended on a man that hasn't even decided if he's even GOING to run for President. From taking shots at his personal life choices...what with that gorgeous bride of his and his stunning baby girls, to trying to drag his sons through the mud, to challenging his even being QUALIFIED to serve as our President, to wildly criticizing him solely for his "Southern-ness."

Amidst all the guffaws at his opponents' efforts to tear him down, even though they should be focusing on getting out their positive message for America, wooing potential voters, begging for campaign cash, or tearing down their KNOWN opponents as the means to distinguish themselves, you have to ask yourselves WHY such efforts are being made. I'll tell you why:

"FRENVY"

Nothing else can explain this phenomena. Fred continues to climb in the polls, has a very intense knowledge of the media, including the New Media...or Alternative Media if you prefer...he understands outreach, and he understands this country and her people and what is going wrong and what needs fixing...and everyone else seems befuddled by the mystery of the package that "IS" Fred. He's the real deal...everyone else is just trying to figure out how to LOOK the part.

Where to begin? Why the NYT of course, where Hillary and the kids get ALL their marching orders.
